How many of you, in a moment of curiosity, have sought additional information, insights, or explanations on how the “Law of Attraction” or manifesting works? How many of you have tried, like me, to search for complex keywords to find serious insights, but failed to do so? If you’ve found yourself in my situation, I want to offer you some additional explanations and useful tips to optimize your searches because we’re inundated with nonsense and nonsense about it that could make you reconsider everything.
Actually, the web is rich in information on the subject. There are hundreds of websites, blogs, videos, and free materials that delve into these concepts. However, today SEO doesn’t make it easy to search for specific topics, as search engines mainly index “reliable” sources.
The reliability of a page doesn’t depend on the reliability of the source writing it, but on the platform publishing the content. Consequently, even if a topic is published on Facebook, Linkedin, or YouTube by any person, the post will be indexed mainly for the reliability of these platforms, and not necessarily for the quality of the source or the author. So you’ll end up with the same old worn-out content on how just having a positive thought a day can change your life and become a multimillionaire by complimenting a glass of mineral water.
Searching for content on YouTube, in my opinion, is much easier than traditional search engines. You can find truly interesting content because YouTube uses rankings based on the number of views and the number of subscribers to a channel. However, I believe that the most intriguing content is created by people who aren’t so interested in views. These people lead real lives and aren’t focused on becoming influencers on YouTube. Moreover, those aspiring to get rich on YouTube probably show a lack of creativity and perhaps don’t truly have faith in the power of Manifesting.
In fact, just today, the dear and talented Clio from Clio MakeUp started crying on the web because after years of being an influencer (and she also talked about the law of attraction) she realized that other influencers are mean, but if you have trust and truly believe in the power of Manifesting, who cares???
The point is to remember the power of the Law in dark times, and here come the endless possibilities of books, audiobooks, movies, and documentaries available on various platforms. You can find excellent materials on the web, but also many generic books that start from basics and lead to obvious conclusions. Not always are noteworthy books found, especially for those who want to learn specific exercises, advanced meditation techniques, or breathing practices to free the mind, etc. I would like to provide you with a list of resources that, in my opinion, can be of great help and save you time. I firmly believe that one of the best approaches to improve in your practice is to choose a specific method and continue to follow it for a certain period until you understand if you have truly benefited from that practice, but today I won’t talk about this but rather how to search for it on your own.
The quintessential method is searching on YouTube:
To start, I would like to share with you a method that I have always followed unconsciously to deepen the practice of the law of attraction. Personally, I started practicing the law of attraction around 2012 with Abraham (Esther Hicks). I won’t dwell on this topic as I have already talked about it in another article, but I can share with you this method that has always provided me with many answers. On YouTube, just enter as a keyword in the search engine “Abraham Hicks + topic” and you’ll get the answer directly from the main source. For example, yesterday I unfortunately hurt my elbow while playing sports, so I entered as a keyword “Abraham Hicks” + “injury” and found the best method to visualize healing, also explaining the reason for injuries (Abraham-Hicks: What is the role of thought in traumatic injuries?) or how to relieve pain. The only drawback of this approach is that almost all available material is in English, so if you’re looking for content in other languages it might not work as well.
The second method is searching in books.
It’s not a foolproof or free method, but it’s certainly interesting. Let’s avoid doing a generic search on Google, as it only leads to confusion and waste of time. Instead, open Google and go directly to the Google Books section. Here we enter the main topic in quotes to narrow down the field, such as: “Law of Attraction” or “Manifesting” if we prefer English, then we enter the second keyword “injuries”, not necessarily in quotes but it will be the same. I wanted to do this search again to see at the results level if something specific was found and it was. In the first search results, something that had absolutely nothing to do with it obviously appeared, but at least in the third and fourth results, some specific references appeared in Italian. If we change the second keyword “injuries” with a more generic one “relationships” obviously we find something even more specific. There are many pros and very few cons to this method. You can find something published, correct, reviewed, and certainly thorough. Moreover, very often the contents are reviewed by other users, however, often the contents are paid for as they are books, and very often there aren’t even previews so we have to trust our intuition a bit to understand if the book is right for us.
The method for searching other blogs:
In my opinion, this method can be interesting not only if you’re looking for topics on the law of attraction but also on any other theme. Many of you, dear readers, have come to this page through the internal search engine of WordPress. However, we also know well that the best blogs are not necessarily only present on this platform, as they could use Blogspot, Medium, Wix, Weebly, or Typepad. Personally, I chose WordPress because it suits my work skills, but many people might prefer other platforms.
In this case, to search for curated and specific blogs on a particular topic, we can use this simple method: on Google, we will enter the following keyword: inurl:blog + “law of attraction” or any other search term based on the specific topic you want to use. Obviously, you won’t find my blog, which is probably still too young and lacking in information, not present on Meta nor mentioned by anyone; in fact, you won’t even find it if you write “Syntony”, but you will find hundreds of blogs in Italian, among the most consistent and up-to-date on that specific topic.
Udemy, courses from A to Z:
This is a method that is certainly not always free but effective for finding interesting content. Nowadays, on Udemy, searching for courses on “law of attraction” and applying the free filter, you will find about 290 free courses on the specific topic.
Of these, 261 are in English, 1 in Portuguese and one in Italian, which actually deals with Bitcoin (don’t click on it). Why are so many contents free?
The Anglo-Saxons are skilled in marketing and have understood the value of positive reviews. For this reason, they start their courses, observe the results obtained by distributing them for free, collect feedback and, when they get some success, start offering their courses at an appropriate price. The same cannot be said of Italians, who often act more impulsively in their marketing strategies, but this doesn’t mean that there aren’t interesting contents.
On Udemy, roughly every two weeks, there are sensational discounts where you can buy courses for about €12, even though their full price sometimes exceeds hundreds of euros. Therefore, it’s worthwhile to wait for the right moment before buying and activate the “Honey” extension, which offers discounts on every major e-commerce (joinhoney.com/ref/f6h43z2) you want to use… I work in marketing in my daily job).
The ultimate foolproof method: intuition.
Follow your instinct and jot down questions about the things you want to know. The answers will come later, at very different times, when you are ready to welcome them.
You might find millions of pieces of information on how the universe was generated, how to get rich, how to use the law of attraction to attract the coolest person in school to you, how to lose weight just by using the power of the mind, how to make your favorite team win the Champions League, but your intuition knows if what you read deserves to be considered or not.
Personally, I always try to follow my instinct and immediately discard what I don’t consider valid, especially when it comes to topics like this, where it’s easy to get caught in a whirlwind of poor information, also because it can’t be said that these are scientific topics.
Take note that you’ll find a lot of fluff, especially if when searching you’re a bit “desperate”, in the sense that you feel curious because you have an urgent need; but among the fluff and various nonsense, there are also many worthwhile things that can really improve your life so don’t give up. ❤️
