Harmonious Frequencies: Understanding Manifestation with the Law of Attraction

First Pill

One of the most challenging things to grasp, especially when one wants to start manifesting something concrete, is to understand that everything in this world is energy and has a vibrational frequency.

I was introduced to this concept many years ago purely by chance, as I mentioned in my previous article about how my yoga teacher made me aware of my negativity.

During that period, to deepen both my knowledge of yoga and to understand what it meant to be negative, I bought a book by the master Giorgio Furlan from a small yoga shop, suggested by the shop owner, titled “Conduits and Supersubtle Centers” (A book only in Italian and also really rare to find).

This book talked about yoga in a very unexpected way for me; it was as if it were written in Sanskrit instead of Italian. But one very important thing I found in this book was the beautiful explanation of what frequencies are. Yes, frequencies, like those of the radio, music, or even visual frequencies, the oscillations of objects, guitar strings, or the blowing of leaves.

It is believed that everything in the universe, including our thoughts, emotions, and physical body, is composed of energy in constant movement and vibration. From this perspective, our state of well-being and balance depends on the quality of our vibrations.

In yoga, through techniques such as Asanas (physical poses), Pranayama (breath control), and Meditation, we seek to harmonize and raise the vibrational frequencies of the body and mind. It is believed that regularly practicing yoga can help purify and balance the body’s chakras (energy centers), promoting optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.

Furthermore, yoga encourages awareness of our own vibrations and their influence on our lives and interactions with the surrounding world. Through yogic practice, we seek to cultivate positive thoughts, elevated emotions, and a state of mindful presence to attract positive experiences and manifest our highest potential.

Follow me a little longer, and you will understand why I don’t think this is true.

In the world of the law of attraction, the concept of vibrational frequencies plays a fundamental role.
Indeed, they allow us to attract what vibrates at our own frequency, whether for good or for evil (if good and evil really exist).

The ability to understand these frequencies, manipulate them, and become aware of them allows us to shape our reality and determine the experiences we attract into our lives.

This can be very encouraging for some and terrifying for many.

We live in a strange era, an era where humans are more accustomed to distraction than understanding, an era where depression is treated only with medication and not with the support of friends and family, with change, and with a more natural lifestyle.

We live in an era where anxiety has become the norm for everyone and seems something to manage rather than let go.

So, how can we manage our vibrational frequency?

In fact, it’s the energy we emit based on our thoughts, emotions, and moods.

Some think that every thought, every emotion, and every action we undertake produces an energetic vibration that we send out into the universe, written rather generically.

Some think that saying thank you aloud for something raises this vibrational state.

In reality, thoughts, and actions have much less impact on raising vibrational frequencies than emotions do. It’s the emotion that does most of the work, especially the emotions that make us feel good.

In fact, we’ve given a name, a reaction, even established a musical frequency for each emotion, but often we confuse our words and attitudes as we would like our emotions to be, rather than the other way around.

To put it simply, do I want to be happy? I put on a mask that makes me appear happy in the eyes of the world, hoping that sooner or later even my psyche will fall for it and suddenly make me happy.

Other times we want to be charismatic, we want to feel confident in ourselves in the eyes of others, and we start talking, talking without really feeling like protagonists, but striving to appear so in the eyes of others. The perfect recipe for disaster!

We seek enlightenment, so we throw ourselves into prayer, into Buddhist practice, into yogic disciplines, we put ourselves in strange positions, we say Namaste to all the neighbors, but how many of you have really seen a yoga practitioner truly enlightened? I myself went to India for a month in an Ashram to feel guilty because I couldn’t.

The reality is that effort never leads to anything good.

Even though it may seem to us that we are changing our emotions, maybe we try to convince ourselves to really feel them, it simply doesn’t happen. In fact, the more we try, the more we fall flat on our faces when we finally drop the mask.

And we feel the thud and blame the universe, saying it’s all nonsense, and in the best-case scenario, we’re so humble as to say, “I haven’t tried hard enough, I must try with more determination!” (personal experience, you understand?).

In truth, we must imagine vibrational frequencies like invisible radio waves that carry your favorite broadcasts to your radio. Even though you can’t see them, you know they exist because you can tune into them and hear the music they transmit. Similarly, our vibrational frequencies carry our intentions, desires, and beliefs into the universe, attracting corresponding experiences into our reality.

Unlike the radio, though, where turning the dial with your hand allows you to choose the right channel for you, with emotions and vibrational frequencies, we must act without acting.

We must literally “let it happen.”

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know how much I’m a fan of Michael Ende’s book “The Neverending Story,” and it’s like when Atreyu tries to understand how to pass through the three gates to reach the Southern Oracle, especially the last gate, the hardest one:

“Here, things are really starting to get difficult. The Door Without a Key is closed. Understand? Simply closed. Period! There’s no handle, knob, lock, nothing! According to my theory, the entire door, with its single leaf closing perfectly, is made of fantasy selenium. You may know that there is nothing that can destroy, bend, or even scratch fantasy selenium. It’s an absolutely indestructible substance!”
“So, you mean we can’t pass through this door?”
“Easy there, youngster. We know of people who have passed through and spoken with Uyulala, don’t we? That means the door can be opened.”
“True, but how?”
“Listen up: fantasy selenium reacts to our will. And it’s precisely our will that makes it so rigid. The more one wants to pass through, the more the door closes. But if one manages to forget any intention of passing and to no longer want anything, then the door opens in front of them by itself, as if by magic.”

Micheal Ende, The Neverending Story
Atreyu crosses the door at the Southern Oracle,

So, just as Atreyu, to cross the threshold of the last gate, must forget to want it, we, to access higher emotions and attract abundance and positivity to ourselves, must stop trying to do it, but let it happen, allow your essence to receive that emotion.

(I interpret this last sentence as “Our emotions react to our will. And it’s precisely our will that makes them so rigid. The more one wants to elevate oneself, the more emotions block. But if one manages to forget every intention of elevating oneself, then enlightenment unfolds by itself, as if by magic.”)

And it’s precisely here that meditation, breathing, writing, music, visualization, and intuition come into play, but only for the pleasure of doing them and not to achieve something.

It’s called The Art of Allowing, which is very different from both doing nothing and acting.

Today I think I’ve tried to express a concept much larger than myself, but essential for me, perhaps the most important of all. It took me an entire afternoon to write it, and forgive me if some concepts are written a bit poorly.

Now I’ll get up, stretch my legs, and go walk around the pole for the pure joy of doing it, and I’ll let my body move on its own.

In the meantime, I hope I’ve brought some clarity, and I’ll proceed to write another one as soon as possible.

Give a thumbs up if you want to know more about this topic.

Happy manifesting.

This is really interesting. I am fascinated by the power of emotions. I used to think that my mother had mastered her emotions, but, in reality, she was hiding them because she was afraid of letting them loose.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

    • I’m glad this helped you reach some clarity… For my mother, it was just the same, but she also improved so much lately as she started doing meditation. We are not supposed to be perfect, we are supposed to be true to ourselves.

  3. Loved this post! I’m from the blog challenge and I love how you describe tapping into the emotion rather than the thought. Letting go and not pushing for something allows the universe to send and us to receive.
Looking forward to your future posts!
    Yours in Gratitude,
