Transcendental Breathing: How Not to Practice It! Day 6

Did you think I had forgotten to write?

Well, no, I just had a full, intense, and engaging day today, although not very productive for the breathing exercises I committed to follow for 8 consecutive days.

And indeed, that’s exactly what I want to talk to you about today: breathing exercises, how not to do them!

Because, even though this weekend has been wonderful for me (probably these exercises are stirring things up for the law of attraction), I didn’t have my 40 minutes of time to dedicate to the breathing technique until evening, just after eating, with a cough and tiredness after spending 2 full days outdoors hiking in nature and doing pole dance all Sunday.

I just finished doing them, and compared to usual, the breaths were much less uniform than usual; I could mainly breathe from the chest, very little from the abdomen, although I tried to focus on that area, my body just didn’t want to cooperate.

At times, I thought of stopping and giving up, but I persevered only because I am starting to feel the benefits, especially mentally.

When one focuses on the breath, indeed, it’s impossible to get caught up in anxiety, melancholy, and thoughts flow more clearly.

Today, however, I also felt the baked potatoes with salmon blocking the space available, and a slight cough appearing at least every 5 minutes hindering concentration.

I certainly wonder why this cough appeared now, after spending a day in nature and after so many breathing exercises.

I don’t know why, but I want to hope it’s some sort of detox where you have to feel a little bad before feeling good.

Meanwhile, tomorrow I will commit to doing the exercises in the morning as soon as I wake up (and probably after taking cough syrup).

However, I’ll let you admire the wonderful places I saw yesterday in Portuguese nature, I hope you like them, and perhaps from the photos, you’ll also understand why I have a cough today.

portugl is beautiful!
Portugal is beautiful!

Tune in!
